Expected = average best single game from today to the end of the matchup week under league scoring, with injuries, rest and the real NBA schedule built in. Range = 10th–90th percentile of 2,000 simulations. Benching a starter mid-week wipes his earlier games (Sleeper rules).
Each starter's single best game of the matchup week counts. Your week total is the sum of those best games across all nine starters.
If you bench a starter mid-week, every game he played so far stops counting. Put him back later and only games from then on count. That's why some moves come with a note about what you'd give up.
For each player we simulate his remaining games (injury status, back-to-backs, games left on the real schedule) and take the average of his best one, never below the score he has already banked.
The big number is your expected total with the best lineup. The bar shows the middle 80% of 2,000 simulated weeks. Win probability uses the same simulations for your opponent's best lineup.
