The calculator needs your whole team to know who'd start. Add your 14 players (bench included).

Only your starters score. In High Score, each starter counts his best game of the week. So a player is worth what he adds to your best lineup, not his raw stats.
We replay the rest of the season. For every remaining week we set your best lineup before and after the trade, using that week's games and injury news, and add up the difference.
Bench players count a little. They cover nights off and injuries, so they get a small share of credit, and only when they beat the free-agent pool.
Roster spots matter. Get two for one and someone has to go: we drop the player you'd miss least. Give two for one and the open spot gets a decent free agent. Both are already in the numbers.
Playoffs count extra. The playoff weeks weigh 1.5× because that's where titles are won.
We check the other side too. Their team is scored the same way, so you can see whether they'd say yes. Without their roster, a typical team stands in.

Accept: You gain at least a few points a week.
Counter: Close to even, or a small loss they'd win big on. Ask for a small add.
Decline: You lose clearly, whatever they gain.

Projections are guesses. The shaded band shows where the real result probably lands. A wide band crossing zero means the deal could go either way.
